Heartstopper was created by Alice Oseman and directed by Euros Lyn with the first season airing in April of 2022. The story primarily follows the life of Charlie Spring who falls in love with his classmate Nick Nelson alongside the daily lives of their friends Tao, Elle, Tara, and Darcy.
